This policy explains which personal data MXG B.V. processes, why we process it, and which rights you have.

MXG B.V., De Steiger 24, 1351 AB Almere, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce 85840548, is the data controller. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@mxg.nl.
2. Which data do we process?
Depending on your interaction with MXG, we process data you provide and limited technical data.
- Name, organisation and email address.
- Selected interest and the contents of your message.
- Follow-up communications and data needed for a proposal or engagement.
- IP address, browser and device data, security logs and cookie preferences.
- Analytics and advertising data when you consent.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to answer enquiries, take steps before entering a contract, perform engagements, manage relationships, secure and improve the website, and comply with legal duties. Analytics and marketing take place only with consent. Other processing relies where appropriate on contract, legal obligation, or a legitimate interest balanced against your rights.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary storage remembers your cookie choice and supports site operation and security. With consent, MXG uses Google Analytics for analytics and Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag for marketing and campaign measurement. You can refuse consent or change it later through Cookie preferences in the footer.
5. Service providers and recipients
We disclose data only where necessary to hosting and Plesk providers, Google Workspace/Gmail, Google Analytics, Meta, LinkedIn, professional advisers, and competent authorities. They process data according to their role, agreements, and legal duties. MXG does not sell personal data.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we use an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism and assess supplementary safeguards where required.
7. How long do we retain data?
We retain enquiries for up to 12 months after handling them. Security logs are kept for up to 90 days unless an incident requires longer investigation. Client and engagement data is kept while the relationship, potential claims, and legal duties require it. Records covered by Dutch fiscal retention duties are kept for 7 years. Vendor cookie durations may differ and are described in cookie settings or vendor documentation.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability where the GDPR grants those rights in your situation. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. Email hello@mxg.nl. We may request information needed to verify your identity.
9. Complaints
Please contact hello@mxg.nl first with questions or complaints. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
10. Security and external links
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. No method is perfectly secure, so do not send unnecessary sensitive data through the contact form. External websites are governed by their own privacy policies.
11. Children
The website is not directed at children and MXG does not knowingly collect children’s personal data. Contact us if you believe a child supplied data.
12. Automated decisions
MXG does not make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
13. Changes
We may update this policy when our website, suppliers, or processing changes. The current version and update date appear on this page.
